Who We Are
Sandhill Pet Clinic has been offering expertise in veterinary medicine to the greater Madison area since 1993, originally founded by Dr. Nothnagel. We are a small animal practice, that offers a wide variety of care for your feline or canine family members.
Our staff is a group of well trained and friendly individuals. They are always available to listen, educate and assist you with your pets needs. Working together we can optimize your pets health!
The Sandhill team has one goal in mind: Provide the best pet care for our patients!
Helping Paws Fund
We have so many amazing and generous clients here at Sandhill Pet Clinic! Many of you have shown your appreciation to us with various goodies and gifts throughout the year and especially around the holiday season! With that in mind, we are asking that you would consider making a cash or check donation to a fund that we would like to start, called the Helping Paws Fund. Donations are NOT tax deductible and would be used towards services at Sandhill Pet Clinic to help our clients who are not able to afford treatment during an emergency situation (at our discretion). Emergency situations would include and are not limited to the following; relieving a urinary blockage, foreign body removal, pyometra, splenectomy, splinting a broken leg, ingestion of a toxic/life threatening substance, etc. This fund will NOT be used for routine services.
Thank you for your time and support!
SCHEDULING AND CURBSIDE UPDATES:
We appreciate everyone's patience, kindness, understanding and commitment to our services during these challenging times!
Unfortunately, due to the high demand we are unable to accept new clients at this time. We understand this can be frustrating, but we are doing our best to keep appointments available in a reasonable time frame.
We will allow 1 client in the exam room with their pet. Even if you are vaccinated, we ask that you wear a mask when entering the clinic. Please call when you arrive to check in for appointments, if you reach our voicemail when you are at the clinic, do not leave a voice mail, you will need to speak with a staff member.
If your pet is having surgery, we will allow you to bring your pet into the clinic. You will need to wear a mask when you check in.
There have also been some prescription food shortages that we cannot predict, please know we are restocking regularly and we are ordering food in as often as we are able.
Please know that we are not an emergency clinic, but we do try our best to accommodate what we can when it arises.
Please call (608) 241-7600 or email us (email@example.com) with any questions or concerns that you may have! Due to the high number of calls, you may need to leave a message, we will get back to you as soon as we can.
